About the NUELAS COLLEGE LMS

The NUELAS COLLEGE Learning Management System (LMS) is the college's online learning platform. It is run by NUELAS COLLEGE for its own students and staff, so that students can keep learning between classes and online students can study from wherever they are.

Accounts are created by the college from its student and staff records; there is no public sign-up. If you would like to study with us, contact the college to register. Once you are registered, you can sign in with your admission number.

What the LMS does

• Lecturers publish learning content for each module or unit: notes, documents, videos and quizzes.
• Lecturers decide when each lesson becomes available to a class.
• Online students study the content, take quizzes and submit assignments, and see their progress.
• All students can view their fee summary and download their fee statement.
• The college can see who is progressing and who needs help.

Who can use it

• Students sign in with their admission number. The first time, the password is also the admission number, and they then choose their own.
• Lecturers and staff sign in with the same username and password they use for the college management system.
• Each student account stays signed in on one device at a time, to keep it safe.

How the LMS uses YouTube

Course videos are hosted on the college's own YouTube channel. A college administrator connects that channel to the LMS once. The LMS then uploads the videos lecturers add to lessons as Unlisted videos on the college channel, checks when YouTube has finished processing them, and plays them inside the lesson. The LMS does not access any other YouTube or Google account, and students do not need a Google account. This uses YouTube API Services; see our Privacy policy and Terms of use.
